Youth

At North Seattle Church we do youth ministry through Young Life.

Sometimes people ask, “Why don’t you have your own youth group?” or, “Don’t kids need a youth pastor?” Those are great questions! Check out this short video to help understand why we think partnering with Young Life is the best way for us to help kids meet Jesus and grow a faith that will last a lifetime.

Ready to get involved?

Here are some simple ways to help out.

Camp Help: Young Life has some of the best camps in the world—they go above and beyond to give kids the best week of their lives. There are so many ways to get involved. Talk to us about helping out at camp and let’s figure out a way to get you there! All ages are welcome!

Small Group Leader: Young Life calls their groups Campaigners. They’re groups of kids of the same age and gender ready to take steps deeper in their faith, the Bible and prayer. Most leaders get involved by helping take kids to camp and building relationships with the kids in their cabins. Often kids will bond at camp and long for that same community at home. That’s where Campaigners steps in. If you’re not sure you are ready, just come to camp and let’s start there.

Host Home: One of the beauties of Young Life is that all ages are needed to make it run. We need older adults, parents and grandparents to open their homes and bake some cookies. We always need places to host Campaigners groups, leader meetings and more. If you have a home, you qualify!

Financial Support: Young Life runs on the generous donations of people who want to see kids’ lives changed by Jesus. Anything helps!
